It’s been awhile since we have shared some of the great blogs that Dawne and I have discovered, so we thought it was high time that we spread some link love around. After all, love is no good if you keep it all to yourself, now is it…
First up is One Dozen Out-of-the-Box Ideas to Inspire Romance from Alex Blackwell’s blog, The BridgeMaker. I like Alex’s approach to romantic ideas, as they are not trapped in the usual conventions of flowers-candy-cards, but rather focus on the needs and wants of his wife. This is neatly summed up in the 12th idea, that states: “Put her needs before your needs.” My thoughts exactly!
Next up is Lonely Hurts, a personal blog that covers the trials and tribulations of the author’s adventures in romance and the dating scene. While Dawne and I are not “up” on the scene, we do find that this persons thoughts and insights are a good read.
Normally, I don’t spend much time on wedding themed blogs, but Marryology is the exception. An easy to read, attractive site that is dedicated to helping you plan your wedding. In addition to the usual “How to choose a dress” type of post, the author also delves into reminisces of her own wedding, as in “10 Years Later… Would I Do Anything Differently?”
