Marc has been reading What the Bleep do we Know?, and found something very interesting in the book, which I’d like to share with you. It concerns the idea of living in a magical world and more specifically, us being the beings who live in it. Essentially, if the world and therefore the Universe we live in is magical, then why wouldn’t we be as well?

Magical World
Well, actually we are: We are able to affect and effect systems at a distance due to a little thing called entanglement or nonlocal phenomena. For instance, there was the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research, or PEAR, which found that yes indeedy, we CAN affect systems on purpose.

Apparently, almost anyone can learn remote viewing. The big trick is to not let your imagination fill in the blanks and allow the information to just be what it is. In other words, you need to learn to truly observe. This is nothing less than seeing with the “third eye” and yes, you actually have one: It’s called the pineal gland and is quite light sensitive. In addition, the pituitary gland is directly linked up to the optic chiasma (the place where the optic nerves cross). Interestingly, there have been a number of instances where the remote viewer had physically bad eyes, but would remote view - places they’d never seen - with crystal clarity. If you still think the idea of a third eye is wacky, there are a number of amphibians and lizards that have “third eyes” in the literal sense. Heck, there’s a lizard that has a complete eye in the top of it’s head!

Ever been in a place or situation where the “feel” of it was good, bad, happy, scary, or in some way “wrong”? Sometimes you might even get those feelings from a specific object. That is your sense of touch getting activated and it’s what’s used in dowsing and radionics. It’s also this sense that is primarily employed in energy healing. The inner eye is fed by touch to see what’s going on in the area and the whole is sensed by touch alone. The seeing allows the healer to direct and monitor.

Here’s one last idea for you before getting back to the book. Homeopathy. It’s the principle of like cures like. If you doubt it’s effectiveness, imagine the world without vaccines, because they are homeopathic. The real puzzle for the mechanistic worldview concerning homeopathy is that the less of the substance you have in the medicine, the stronger it gets. But it’s not really if you understand the process: 1) Start with a substance and a crystalline carrier. 2) Shake the begeezus out of the combined substances. 3) Cut down the actual substance and increase the crystalline carrier. 4) Shake the begeezus out of it again. 5) Repeat 3 and 4 until you have the dose you want. That alone won’t explain what’s going on, but if you apply the holographic model to it, it makes sense: If you have a true and complete hologram of something and you break it, you will have multiple versions of the original. If you keep doing this you will have smaller and smaller versions of that same information, albeit at lower fidelity. Now imagine a substance that is angular by nature and you’re trying to embed the holographic information into it. The more times you break down the hologram, the more information the crystalline carrier is holding.

DNA is like this. An energetic whole that needs to be embedded into crystalline carriers - the salts and minerals, or the earth of the body if you like. And one cell holds all the information to build the whole, albeit at a lower fidelity than if you had multiple cells from multiple parts.

Magical Self

All right. So if we live in a magical Universe, on a magical world and we’re magical beings that inhabit this magical space, how come we don’t move mountains, or teleport, or fly? B-E-L-I-E-F. We BELIEVE these things are not possible, so they aren’t. We BELIEVE the world is mundane, so that’s how we see it. We BELIEVE magic is nonsense, so we are unable to wield it: We have put it beyond our capacity to reach; up on the highest shelf of the closet of our most cherished dreams. We knew better when we were little, but everybody would get mad at us if we really BELIEVED in the magical Universe and our magical self. And now, if we really believe, we threaten the very cornerstones of reality. But what if this so-called reality in which the world is mundane and you and I are no more than the sum of our parts, is the actual magic trick? Then we have allowed ourselves to be DUPED!

Which brings me back to the book. I’m going to quote from the UnWizard’s Handbook in What the Bleep do we Know?:

1. Convince people that they are NOT magicians.
Since everyone is a magician, if you convince them they are not, then that’s what they’ll be.
Antidote: Remember your greatness: You are already a magician.

2. Teach the glories of becoming a Victim.
Once magicians accept being a victim, they have reliqushed their claim to creating reality. For victims, reality happens to them: It is unfair and never their fault. So they never have to look within where they will see their own creation.
Antidote: Accept responsibility for your life.

I have to add a caveat to the second point: There are events that really do come from outside. However, most of the time these types of events are promulgated by those who never look at themselves and enjoy creating victims in order to make themselves “powerful”. This is because they think of themselves as “victimized”. This is the only way they know to rid themselves of that feeling. I have yet to meet one of these individuals or groups that think of anyone but themselves. To them, when they look at us, they do NOT see a human being. They see a thing, such as a “number” and you can’t really hurt a “thing”, right? In short, they have lost their own humanity because they see themselves as a thing and project this onto others. By doing so, they prove they have lost their magic.

3. Confound and cross wire Belief Systems.
Belief is the engine of creation. Any glitch in the belief of a magical act will derail it. “Authorities” are very useful in this undertaking.
Antidote: Don’t give power away to authorities and trust your own experience. Remember: Belief is the engine of creation.

Belief is something that comes from the heart, not the head and it is from belief that we create change. So listen to your heart, because that is the true source of your power: Your head can only tell you what is not. Your heart tells you what really is and what can be. For most people, your heart is also your best authority: It is in the heart, that we KNOW right from wrong. We gain this knowledge from personal experience. The head gives insight at best and at worst simply justifies.

4. Make New Knowledge scary and inaccessible.
New knowledge is the key that unlocks old belief systems and opens the door to greater and greater realities. Furthermore, knowledge strengthens one’s belief in the true workings of the universe, thus empowering the Magician. Therefore, employ the most drastic of countermeasures: Fear.
Antidote: Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you. Matthew 7:8

There is also the old knowledge. Much of it comes from before the Time of Duping, when magic was KNOWN to be real. And this is where your head comes in: To help you sort out the real magic from the glamors. For example, Traditional Chinese Medicine and many of the theories found under its auspices, such as Qi Gong. If you ever wanted training to be effective as the Magician you already are, these practices have a lot to offer. Another would be Tantra.

5. Make Magicians creepy and being a Magician dangerous.
Enlightened beings are magnetically radiant, and they seek to enlighten everyone. Removing them one way or another eliminates the problem and makes others weary of following in their footsteps.
Antidote: Find those those that you can learn wisdom from and study.

6. Get them to Lie.
A lie is a disconnect with reality. It fragments the liars, thus making them a house divided. It also fractures the integrity of their belief systems, thereby rendering any magic they do petty. Therefore, make lying acceptable.
Antidote: On the verge of a lie, ask yourself: What’s the worst that can happen if I tell the truth and is that worth sacrificing my magical heritage?

7. And never look inside.
Although the last rule, it is the keystone to all of the above. If people never look inside, they will never discover the truth about who and what they really are. Therefore, convince them that true happiness is out there.
Antidote: Don’t listen - look within.

Here is another quote: To see things in the seed, that is genius. Lao Tzu. What that means is, to look at the beginning of something and know what the outcome will be. It means knowing the effects of our actions on others and the world around us. In order to do this, we MUST look within for we are each of us a hologram piece of the larger hologram, so we hold the answer. Every one of us can do this and the longer we live, the better we are at it. It is the core of a humane human’s power. It is is at the core of wisdom and it is the core of magic.

Being Magical
If you want to realize your magical self in a real way, you have to begin with how you think and allow what you feel in your heart to be just as real as that feeling of the chair under your backside as you sit and read this. To that end, I recommend the following:

We BELIEVE the world is mundane, so that’s how we see it. We BELIEVE magic is nonsense, so we are unable to wield it.
Word origin of wield:
Old English - welden: to govern, to have power over, to possess. German - walten, Old High German - waltan, Icelandic - valda, Swedish - v[*a]lla: to occasion, to cause. Danish - volde, Gothic - waldan: to govern, rule, Latin - valere to be strong. Webster’s 1913.

YOU govern reality. YOU have the power create reality and are in fact doing so every moment. You possess this power by your very nature. So grab a ladder and reach for that box on the top shelf, in the back left hand corner of that closet of dreams. Dust off those beliefs of what is truly possible if you only BELIEVE. Lift out that wand called Reality Is Plastic and happy magic casting!
