Romantic stories are the inspiration, the lifeblood if you will, that can help us to keep the faith when we have fallen into the rut of just being together. You know the the drill, those early passions have been replaced by routine, and romance supplanted by the daily grind of work, school, and kids. It’s at times like these that inspirational romantic stories can help to re-ignite the flame of our passions, and make us remember that being in love is the one thing that can lift us above the petty cares of the daily drudge.
So with that in mind, I am issuing an open call to incurable romantics everywhere, asking “what’s your story?” Send me your romantic stories, romantic tips and advice, whatever you have, and if I like it, I will be published here on The Incurable Romantic!
But first, some rules (sorry, no choice):
- English language only. While you don’t need to be an English major, do pay attention to grammar and spelling. Anything written like this: “My luv 4 U” will be deleted unread.
- An author resource box is not only allowed, it is encouraged! Just make a small signature, and if you have a website or blog, link to it. Special note, though: I will check out your site, and if it is spam central, I reserve the right to de-link it.
- All stories, tips, etc, are to be sent via email as plain text. No HTML formatting or Word files allowed.
- No links to sales pages, landing pages, etc. No exceptions.
- Please label your work appropriately: fiction, true story, tips, etc.
In return, you will get:
- A permanent do-follow link from incurable-romantic.com to your site!
- Traffic! As I-R’s traffic grows, so will click throughs to your site.
- The undying love of hoards of incurable romantics the world over. (If you’re lucky, anyway)
- And perhaps most importantly, new friends

So, if you can live with those modest rules, then please submit your romantic stories to marcbasile (AT) incurable-romantic (DOT) com with the subject line of Romantic submission. I am looking forward to seeing your stories!
